4TH ANNUAL KENTLAND BEACH VOLLEYBALL A SUCCESS: GOOD TIMES AND GOOD FUN WITH GREAT FRIENDS

Had a fun time organizing and running the Volleyball Tournament. Good times!

Story from Kentland33.com:

At 0900 hrs many brave soles ventured with squinted eyes down to the Castle in the Sand on 37th St. in Ocean City for the 4th Annual Kentland Beach Volleyball Tournament. The event hosted 14 teams from around the State and more to do battle on the sanded surface. The event featured drink specials, the girls of Bacardi, a Dunk Tank sponsored by the Police and Firemen’s Insurance Associations and door prizes from Dragon Fire Gloves, Firehouse Dolls and Bacardi. A great time was had by all with LaPlata once again taking home the 1st place standing. 2nd place went to the fellas from Martinsburg, West Virginia making their first appearance in the games. 3rd place was taken home by the team from Bladensburg and associates. Securing their place in tournament history was Kent Island VFD for taking home the coveted “Dead Ass Last” trophy. Thanks to all who came out and set your calendars now for June 21st, 2011 for the 5th annual games, which is already shaping up to be the biggest yet. See you there and be safe till then. Be sure to vist the Kentland Facebook page to see more pictures from the event and add your own.
